The pencil cup is made out of a soup or vegetable can that most people would throw away or put in the recycle bin. The clip board has been around since dinosaurs roamed the earth. I have several that have been covered. (For gifts, I buy new clipboards.) The old clipboards around the house have all gotten a new face lift. I think this one is missing a corner or is damaged. Most people would have thrown it away. Not me, I covered and decorated it. :-) You would never know it had been damaged. I love it! I take it on all of my photo shoots.

I remember when you first showed this. It's something the way you turn junk into something useful.
It's very cute!
This is Cute Cute...and you are so creative ...

Hi Melissa! It's really darling. Love the vibrant colors! Deb
Melissa, am I in the Twilight Zone???? Did you have another link up here earlier and somehow I posted under it about clipboards??? It's been kind of a crazy day for me. LOL! I got excited because I won a prize giveaway on another blog. Anyhow, I like your little pencil cup. That's a sweet idea.
Hugs,
Sheila
How cute! Both my girls love pink and black polka dots! Maybe I will do this for them too!
Sheila, I am a blog novice. I thought I linked this to Diane and what I linked was the clipboard, which was something I was a part of late yesterday. I checked the link after posting to Diane's Mr. Linky last night and this is what came up. I thought I was good. :D But I started getting TtoT posts on the I can make that... Then I got confused. LOL! Because I did check it and it worked for me last night. Oh well, I just posted it again and emailed Diane to delete one. LOL!
BTW, last night was the first time I figured out how to actually just post a single post to Mr. Linky! I might not have done it correctly, but I figured it out and did it! Yeah!
Cute way to make an old clip board look great!
Great Idea!
Hi Melissa,
Love this clipboard. I just got in from school...and will check my email!
Thanks so much for participating!
These would make wonderful gifts!
My little girl would love a furry pencil holder! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Missy,
I LOVE that re-do on the clipboard and pencil holder! I need to get creative with soup cans!
I will be looking at your photography blog to see the birds. We are both definitely passionate with our little critters and birds aren't we!?!
I like the way you have decorated and coordinated the cup and clipboard. They both are very nice. I have a clip board a friend gave me that she decorated and I can't bring myself to use it. I just display it.
take care,
Dawn
Hi Melissa great job bringing a whole new life to your clipboard, and making it a matchin set with the pencil cup!
I am sure that the picture in your header must be Mabry Mill in VA. We've been there many times and I have quite a few photographs taken there, it's a beautiful spot!
Very nice! I love doing collages on clipboards. I still have one I made 8 years ago and I just can't bear to change it or get rid of it.
Very nice craftrecycling Melissa! I love the color combinations.
Hugs, Pat
You sure have fixed these items up beautifully!
Very clever. I like the colors too.
