My Gray Journey Continues ~ Change in My Colorwheel

Hello my friends! Hi Friends! It has been a while since I last uploaded a video. I will not be so long with the next one coming. If you have been following my channel you know that I have been transitioning my hair from coloring to going naturally gray. One thing I have discovered is a change in my color wheel.
Some of these colors no longer look good with my skin tone and silver hair

I know that many many years ago, it was quite popular to have a "color analysis". This is where a consultant, may be someone selling makeup, your hairdresser or your favorite clothing sales person, analysed your skin tones with your eye color and your hair color, determining what colors look best on you. I remember being labeled a "Summer" meaning light pastels in cool tones looked best on me. I could also get away with wearing the "Winter" colors, being the cool toned jewel colors and blacks.

Most warm toned colors, as you see here in the photo below of me wearing a camel colored sweater:

I look even worse in this orange shirt you see me in below:

Folks, you do not want to see me in yellow. It just makes me look totally jaundice.

Because of my eyes being a slightly blue/green and my hair being dyed blond or auburn (over the past 40 years, my hair has been almost every color of the rainbow!) I have been able to get away with wearing olive green. Of course, it might be that I love the color so much.

It looks good with the white top underneath, next to my face, but see how good it looks with the merlot colored top! Really pops! Once all of the color is out of my hair (you can see just a tad of light brown/blond from the earlobes down, and it seems to be blending in nicely) I believe that these colors will still look good.

I always seem to be safe in white. This is a neutral color that I wear the most.
Blue is always a safe bet...

 Whether a print or....

 a solid.

Pinks, peaches, purples are also very good and do not clash with my hair.

If you are transitioning, you will probably find your color wheel changing as well. Some colors will not be quite as forgiving as others. There may even be some differences between some shades in the same color family.

If you are also transitioning from coloring your hair to natural, you may also find your color wheel changing as well.
