Tagged and Awards!

I have been Tagged by Valerie from It's a Wonderful Life. She lives in the same area that I live in. We need to meet up for coffee one day.

7 Weird facts about myself:

1. I tend to be a germafobe, but God has dealt with me about it by giving me a thumb sucker who I have to force to wash her hands and nag constantly about hygiene.
   
2. I am a counter that everything has to be symmetrical. When taking photography classes 20 years ago, I had a couple of teachers force me to quit seeing things that way. (Yep, all of my pictures were even.) But it was easy to see what they wanted me to see and I still like balance and everything to be symmetrical. Everything must flow. I teach aerobics and being a counter helps me out there. I must do as many moves on the left side as the right side. If I take a class from someone who does not teach that way it drives me nuts and I fret I will walk out of the class with a lopsided body. Though, technically, that is not the case.
   
3. I will be 50 years old next month and I teach aerobic/fitness classes. (Hey, I'm going to be there working out, may as well get paid for it!)
4. I can still do back bends.
5. I collect Teapots and Coffeepots.
6. I teach 4th grade Sunday School-edited to say, it is amazing we (dh and I) have not killed a couple of kids. LOL!!! The boys are a hand full.
   
7. I love deep rich reds. (It is easy to decorate for Christmas at my house!) Edited to say that really is not weird. What I should say is.... Since May/June of 2003, I have had major surgery every other year. Sometimes they are two years to the date. DH is already teasing me about what organ/body part will be removed this year. LOL! I say I am taking this year off. :D

Laptop Problems

After McAfee updated the other day, Firefox 'crashed' and would not let me sign back on. So I tried IE. I would not let me sign on to the net either. :-( DH and I have both tried to figure it out. I am down stairs using DH's computer right now. (I prefer all my own settings...) I keep hearing noises upstairs. Not sure if it is big bird making them or if DD is making them. Neither one is answering me so.... I need to shut down and go upstairs and make sure my house is not torn apart.

Oh I miss using my lappy! It just goes where I go. BTW, everything else works on it. Even Outlook. Weird.

Christine from "Somewhere in Time" (Private Blog) just had a 100th post GiveAWay and she emailed me this morning that I Won!!! I don't believe it!

A couple of weeks ago, I won a Give-A-Way from Sally at Smiling Sally! She is a book reviewer and from time to time also has book Giveaways. It is a Christian Novel (I love reading these) and is a story about a reality show. I am hoping to get to read it soon. During Christmas break.

I am sitting here surfing blogs and taking it easy. There is a sinus thing going around and I picked it up (DH came down with it a few days ago) and it is not bad, but I got the 'stickies' in my throat. I always know what that means. Now I have 3 shoots today. 2 parades and one family. The second parade DH was going to finish up for me and I was going to leave early and shoot the family. Thankfully, I did not schedule the Santa shoots today as well. I usually do them the first Sat in Dec too! I am so glad I did not make those arrangements.

I spent all afternoon at the doc yesterday and I have strep. DH and DD never get it. They stay away from me b/c they can pass it to someone else, but they never have had it in their lives. Not a good time to get sick, but you know what, God is in total control and I am not going to worry about it. I will simply try to reschedule my afternoon family shoot ( I am sure they do not want their 4 kids exposed to strep!) and spend the day taking it easy, cleaning, lysoling, cleaning, lysoling and doing a little decorating and lysoling.

This antibiotic is making me feel a little woozy, but winning that HD GiveAWay would make me get over it real quick!

The SEC Championship Game is about to start. I am about to make a pot of tea, make some soup or cheese and crackers and settle in.

Bathroom Diva

As some of y'all know, we spent the week before Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World. Oh what Fun!!!

We wanted to try out a place we have heard about called "Beaches and Cream". It is a great little Soda Shoppe type place located at WDW Yacht Club Resort near the pool. There DH and I split the best Cheeseburger I think I have ever had! And then I really wanted one of these....

It is called the "Kitchen Sink". When you have time, do a search on Youtube "Beaches and Cream/Kitchen Sink". You will see a demonstration of how it is made. I decided against it and got this instead...

Hot Fudge Sunday! My favorite!!! I love these things. I could live off of them.

Then I went to the 'Powder Room'. It was lovely and I had it all to myself... I had been wanting to join Sheila's Bathroom Diva Club and had been looking for a lovely bathroom at Disney to take a picture in, but they have all been full of people. How rude of them to keep coming in when I was hanging about so I could take a picture. Well this one was empty except for me and I could take all the pictures I wanted so here we go!

Isn't this a lovely bathroom? I had to hold my stomach in after that Cheeseburger and Hot Fudge Sundae! They sure were good though. Just glad I did not get the Kitchen Sink! LOL!

I have got to get back to photo loading (I have dumped hundreds of photos onto my external harddrive already), photo editing and making Hayward, The Magic Elf's, bed.
